How do I change the colors of something in a picture with GIMP?

  1. Go to google chrome
  2. Click the search bar and search what you want to edit
  3. Right click the picture and save image as
  4. Choose pictures on the left and save
  5. Close out of google
  6. Open up GIMP 2
  7. Go to file that's underlined
  8. Left click and scroll down to open
  9. Left click open
  10. Select your picture folder
  11. Click your picture
  12. Then click open beside of close
  13. Go to the right window
  14. Click the white papers box (on top right its called layers box)
  15. Right click the white under your original image
  16. There should be a drop down menu
  17. Click the second item that says new layer
  18. Click ok
  19. Then click the paint tool, from the tool box
  20. Go to black and white squares under the tools and click them (on the left)
  21. Look at the left side of the box that pops up and scroll up and down on the vertical bar for a color
  22. Use the color box to find the exact color you like
  23. Click OK
  24. Begin filling in the area you want to color
  25. When you're done coloring, go to the right side and change the opacity
  26. By clicking the horizontal bar that says Opacity and scroll your mouse back and forth the color will fade
  27. Once it looks real enough, take the erase tool and fix any mistakes you made
  28. When your done go to file at the top left
  29. Then click save as from the dropdown menu
  30. Choose pictures folder and save
