How do I find an average in Excel on PC?


  1. First you need to open the app Excel on your PC desktop.

  2. Next you choose a template (Blank Workbook).

  3. Now you type in the numbers you would like to get the average for in A-1 through A-8.

  4. Now you highlight the numbers in the cells, to do that you grab the middle of the first cell and drag down.

  5. Next you go to the formulas tab and choose the down arrow on autosum and choose the average button.

  6. Now you will see the average in the cell under the cells with your data.
